What is acacia?

The Aztec

 

In the 1400s and early 1500s, the Aztec people controlled a vast empire in the area that is now central and southern Mexico. The Aztec ruled ___THEIR___ empire from the great capital, Tenochtitlán.

The capital reflected the empire’s power and wealth, with its gleaming white palaces and temples. The Spanish conquest of the city in 1521 marked the end of the Aztec Empire.
